    childcare

    Hi there,

I am new here and I wanted to know if any of you has ever had a breakdown in your regular childcare. I have had one a few days back and I was at a loss not knowing what to do. My cousin happened to drop by at the same time and she old me about the site http://www.emergencychildcare.co.uk it was through this site that I was able to find an alternate childcare arrangement in less than 2 hours. The site was a real life saver for me. I thought I really need to share this with the others. If you ever have a breakdown your regular childcare do try them out. I an sure they will be able to help you. Bye will catch you later.

Emergency childcare is a bit of an issue for parents. Do any providers have any thoughts on what parents can do when their regular childcare breaks down?

Emergency childcare is a definite issue and was actually one of the questions I asked my nursery before sending my daughter there- always handy to discover their levels of flexibility.  I also got sent an email about a new website www.whereforcare.co.uk which is a childcare reviews and ratings website- good idea I think as it's nice to know what other people think about a nursery before visiting it, and any negatives they highlight can then be questioned.  I've reviewed my daughter's nursery and hopefully given a fairly honest assessment of it.
