Pay parents weekly childcare grant, urges Tory think-tank

Parents of young children should get weekly payments from the government to give them more freedom over childcare decisions, a report by a leading think-tank will urge this Friday (18 April).

Parents should demand the choice of who looks after their child/children but as a childminder who has had past parents not pay their fee's, I know it would be strongly welcomed by many providers that after the parent has made the choice, payments are paid directly to the provider.

I think money should go to companies were woman have babies and if they wish stay away until child starts school. Not pay someone else to look after your child. One room half an hour out a day Not at all stimulating.
