My 14 year old son (Year 9)has been taught in The HUB Unit at Camborne Science & Community College, Camborne in Cornwall. In September '07 his reading age was 8.9 years, in July '08 it was recorded at 11.9 years. Taught in a small class, help on offer at all times, support & interest taken in each in each student meant much improvent. Many thanks to Mrs Sarah Hampshire, Amanda, Debbie, Gary, Mr.Fenlon & Mr.Kenworthy Julie Cooper

Not surprising as she had been taught strategies etc to help and it took a year of fighting to get help for her

If you read this bit first http://www.dcsf.gov.uk/jimroseanddyslexia/ and then use the link to the right 'respond to the call for evidence'. This is where you can then email Jim Rose with your views and experiences.
