    Most young people are law-abiding

The majority of young people are law-abiding, according to the Home Office.

i think that a mijority of young people are law abidding. But what you'll find is if the family back ground has a history of criminals in it it follows on through generations. If you are brought up only knowing and seeing crimes from family members how are you gonna no that it is wrong when its all you no.

Young people get a bad press. We see every day press about "hoodies" and "street gangs" etc but if I remember most of us went through a stage in life where we experimented with clothes, make up, friends etc to find out who we really were and how to progress from a teen into an adult. There are of course a minority who let the rest down and this can not be dismissed but for the rest of them being pre-judged it becomes very unfair.

We have groups of young teens who sit around in our local area but they're polite, they don't drink (Although I presume they do sometimes!!) they wear fashionable clothes and enjoy each others company. The issue is, they have any where to go. Should we blame them or the Government for not giving them a space to call their own, which doesn't cost a small fortune to visit?
