    London Play is to close 100 streets across the capital for a day to give children space to play.

    I think this sounds great. I am sure people will meet neighbours they have not seen before. Elderly people will be able to reminice.Oh good to know there will be a return to community spirit. What about my road in Redbridge. We have a park opposite.

    I'm so glad that permission has been gained for this to go ahead. Hopefully the promotion around it will highlight the need for play areas for children and will give councils the boost they need to turn more parts of the capital (And of course further afield.) into child friendly areas.

    Can't wait to see the event!
