Ofsted should inspect schools on how well they tackle homophobia, according to Liberal Democrat leader, Nick Clegg.

I support the tackling of this problem but feel it is strongly related to gender violence - contempt for women and girls is transferred by extension to 'effeminate' gay men and boys - it is against the culture to show any vulnerability or express any feelings apart from macho aggression. Until gender issues are addressed in schools homophobia will also continue unabated.
