    School dinners on the up

    More than three million pupils are eating school dinners daily, an increase of 50,000 on last year's total, according to a new report.

    Is your headline misleading? More than three million pupils are eating school dinners daily, an increase of 50,000 on last year's total, according to a new report. As reported on national news the secondary school meals number are DOWN as 62.8% DO NOT HAVE SCHOOL DINNERS Tony Pretty

    I suppose, like many stories based on statistics, it depends which numbers you choose to look at!

    In light of the negative press coverage around school meals it is a real credit to those schools / Councils who have increased their uptake figures to "pre-Jamie" levels! Some Councils have been providing healthy, affordable and tasty school food for many years!!
