If all schools in the UK became secular places of education, perhaps some of the extremism could be countered by logic?
Schools should be only places of education; not of religion; nor advertising grounds to these 'rich plum' consumers. They should just be for the disseminating of fact and logic - provable knowledge.
Then we might be getting somewhere in educating our children.
Once their brains are educated, that firm foundation would serve them well in all areas; possibly preventing indoctrination, leaving them clear-eyed and capable of logical consideration of ideas.
