    A law passed yesterday will ensure young people stay in education or training until they are 18.

    It would be helpful if you were to specify to which parts of the United Kindgom legislation, such as this, is relevant. I believe that compulsory education and training until 18 is applicable to England only. It would be interesting and useful to know about policy developments specific to Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland too.
