What a wonderful idea and it about time that workless families were noticed as not being able to assess childcare, my only concern is where is the money coming from to pay the staff to do this and will we have enough places to take these children. Children's centre are a great idea, but it is hitting the small local playgroups very hard as they try to compete with these wonderful new building and huge amounts of cash. if they continue to close the numbers of places will start to fall and then where will you put the children you want to give 20 hours of free care too.
